What is the Eagle Conferencing Donation Programme?

Through the CTX Programme, Eagle Conferencing is donating free use of their audio conferencing facilities including the international bridging service between the UK and India. This means that audio conferences can include participants in both the UK and India without incurring international call charges.

Ordering

How many products can I request?

Each eligible organisation may request one Eagle audio conferencing package. Each audio conferencing call can include a maximum of 25 participants at any one time. Your Eagle account will remain valid unless you specifically ask for it to be cancelled.

Processing

What happens after I place my donation request?

Once you have placed your donation request, we will pass your details to Eagle Conferencing. Eagle Conferencing will set up an audio conferencing account for your organisation. Details of the account, including the numbers to call in the UK and India, pin access codes for the service etc. will be sent to your organisation's registered email address by Eagle Conferencing.

How soon will we receive the donation?

Once your donation request has been accepted and processed, the normal turnaround time is up to 5 days.

Fulfilment

How will my order be fulfilled?

An email will be sent from Eagle Conferencing’s customer service team to your organisation’s registered email address with instructions on how to access and use the service.

Call Charges

What are the call charges for using the service?

Calls to the conferencing service in the UK are to an 0871 service number charged at 10p/minute. In India calls are made to either a Bangalore/Mumbai number at standard rates. The international bridging link between the UK and India is free.

Terms of Service

Organisations eligible for this programme must agree to the Eagle Conferencing Terms of Service.

The Terms of Service require me to register with Eagle. How do I do this?

CTX will pass all the necessary details to Eagle Conferencing for your account to be registered and created. We use the information you provided when you registered with CTX. You do not need to complete any other registration.

The Terms of Service talks about paying usage charges to Eagle Conferencing. What are these charges?

Eagle Conferencing is donating this service to eligible charities in the UK and India. There are no charges payable to Eagle Conferencing. You do not have to provide any payment information to them and we do not pass on any of your payment details. In effect the usage rates for the service are zero for the purposes of the contract.

The Terms of Service mentions providing software. What does this do?
Eagle Conferencing provides access to an online service control panel to help you manage your audio conferences. This can be accessed through a standard internet browser. No software will be provided by Eagle Conferencing.
