Forefront Threat Management Gateway 2010 Enterprise Edition (Includes Software Assurance and 1 Processor License)

Forefront Threat Management Gateway 2010 Enterprise Edition is a comprehensive, secure web gateway that helps protect organizations from web-based threats. It also delivers simple, unified perimeter security with integrated firewall, VPN, intrusion prevention, malware inspection, and URL filtering.

The Enterprise Edition provides increased scalability, access to a central management console, and complete support for virtual environments.

Most of the features of Forefront TMG — such as URL filtering and protection from spam and viruses — require a subscription to Forefront TMG Web Protection Service to keep definitions current. Subscriptions are not currently donated and canot be purchased from Microsoft through the Open License program.

Forefront TMG builds on the technologies of Internet Security and Acceleration Server, which Microsoft no longer offers. Organizations with licenses for ISA whose Software Assurance was current at the time of Forefront TMG's release can obtain it through their Software Assurance benefit.

Licensing: This product is licensed under the processor licensing model, with a license required for each physical or virtual processor accessed by an operating system environment running a TMG server. This license does not require any device or user CALs.

Acquiring the Installation Media:
During check-out, you will be required to request installation media, which will be shipped to you free of charge. To activate this product, you might need a volume license key or setup code.
