Symantec Protection Suite Small Business Edition is a suite of three products that integrate protection technologies such as antivirus, antispyware, desktop firewall, and intrusion prevention to offer multilayered security and backup-and-recovery capabilities.
Symantec Protection Suite Small Business Edition incorporates these products:
Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition: protects networked laptops, desktops, and servers ("endpoints") against viruses, worms, Trojan horses, spyware, adware, rootkits, and threats not seen before ("zero-day attacks")
Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange: combines antivirus technologies with flexible content filtering for Exchange Server
Symantec System Recovery Desktop Edition: recovers individual data files and folders or complete Windows desktops or laptops, including recovery to different hardware, virtual environments, or remote locations
Each user license allows one endpoint to be protected by all the products in the suite. This donation includes a one-year subscription for use of the product, protection updates, and new product features.
New in This Version
This version adds support for Mac OS X endpoints. New Insight technology identifies rapidly mutating threats and also speeds up scans by examining only files at risk. Proactive threat scanning now uses SONAR 3 technology.
Same as Retail Version
This product is identical to the version sold through the Symantec website and includes the standard support, renewal, and upgrade options available with retail products.
Installation File and Licences: When your donation request has been approved, CTX PROGRAMME will send an email to your organisation email address containing download instructions. In 7 to 10 days, Symantec will send a second email with a certificate valid for the number of user licences you are receiving and the serial number needed for downloading. The download size is about 1497 MB. The largest single file is about 464 MB.
This donation includes a one-year subscription for use of the product, protection updates, and new product features.

• Proactive Threat Scan uses a technology unique to Symantec to score both good and bad behaviors of unknown applications, enhancing detection and reducing false positives without the need to create rule-based configurations.
