Sense Scotland's new website improves charity communications

Written by Sally O'Connell

Sense Scotland has appointed a web consultancy firm to improve its charity communications with a new website.

The organisation hopes to set up a flexible, inclusive web space that helps it promote its services and reach a larger audience, the Drum reports.

Designed by Innovation Digital, the website aims to engage supporters and donors with a view to bringing them back to the site regularly.

The company has worked with other Scottish charities and is currently developing an implementation plan for the new website.

Commenting on the charity communications scheme to the online news source, Graeme Thomson of Sense Scotland said the charity is "very excited" to be working with Innovation Digital.

"It's a crucial resource for the organisation and we look forward to being able to connect with visitors to the site in an inclusive and dynamic way," Mr Thomson added.

The site will be tailored to its audience, providing support and easy-read resources for deaf, blind and disabled visitors.

Sense Scotland was established in 1985 and is part of the UK National Deafblind and Rubella Association.ADNFCR-1578-ID-800044887-ADNFCR
