Christian Aid optimises network to boost communications

Written by Isabel Griffith

Christian Aid has significantly boosted its charity communications with the introduction of wide area network optimisation technologies, it has been reported.

According to TMC Net, the organisation employed Expand Networks to improve connectivity across its whole network of offices across the world.

The company focused on boosting network performance, application delivery and charity communications, helping Christian Aid carry out its work more effectively.

Alastair Salmon, technical projects manager for international operations at Christian Aid, told the news source that the optimised networking has helped the charity make the best use of its available bandwidth.

"Since implementing the Expand technology we have experienced substantial productivity gains, making us better equipped to effectively meet the needs and objectives of the charity as a whole," Mr Salmon added.

The technology enables the charity to strictly vet all data that comes into its network of offices, thereby increasing charity communications and efficiency.

Christian Aid is an international organisation operational in almost 50 countries worldwide.ADNFCR-1578-ID-800052812-ADNFCR
