2007 is a relational database management system that helps information workers track and report information. Access 2007 makes it easy to start with prebuilt solutions, modify them, and adapt them to changing needs. Information can be collected on forms by email or imported from external applications.
The 2007 version adds the updated interface common to all core Office applications. In addition, the Database window has been replaced with the more functional Navigation pane, and a new file format now allows for multivalued fields and attachments to fields.
Installing this product requires a licence key and installation media. Within 14 days of placing your order, instructions for obtaining the licence key will be sent to your organisation's registered e-mail address and free installation media will be delivered to your organisation's registered address.
- Under the Software Assurance program, customers acquire the right to install any new release of products covered in the agreement during the term of their coverage.
- Link tables to databases from other Access databases, Excel spreadsheets, Windows SharePoint Services sites, ODBC (open database connectivity) data sources, SQL Server databases, and other data sources.
- Modify reports with real-time visual feedback and save various views for different audiences.
- Quickly enter common types of data detected automatically by Access.
- Integrate with Windows SharePoint Services (requires additional server software) as a rich client interface, to manage data, and to share it on the Web.
