The AIR-LAP1131AG-A-K9 is a lightweight version of the 802.11a/b/g Access Point wireless access points. It provides high-capacity, high-security, and enterprise-class features in an unobtrusive, office-class design. A wireless LAN controller is required to operate this access point. Two radios with built-in omnidirectional antennas provide simultaneous support for 802.11a and 802.11g standards with backwards compatibility for legacy 802.11b clients. This wireless access point runs Lightweight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP) to ease configuration and installation of a wireless network. Multiple nonoverlapping channels minimize interference in congested airspace, simplifying the deployment of high-capacity networks. The 1130AG Series meets the international Common Criteria (ISO 15408) standard for computer security. This product provides setup, deployment, and remote management capabilities through Web-based tools and the Cisco IOS command-line interface. The product is shipped with a universal power supply for connection to local power. Line power over Ethernet support requires the AIR-PWRINJ3 power injector or another inline power source. The Cisco Aironet 1130AG Series can be configured using the console port when there is no Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server in the network or when there is no wired connection between the access point and the LAN. The AIR-CONCAB1200 console cable is required for connection to the console port. Product Service and Support: Cisco will provide five years of hardware and software service and support ("SMARTnet") for any product obtained through this donation program (Linksys products not included).
