The Cisco ASA5500-SSL-25= licence upgrade pack enables the Cisco ASA 5505 or 5510 security appliance to support up to 25 concurrent SSL VPN sessions.
SSL VPN sessions offer a flexible and secure way to extend network resources to virtually any remote user with access to the Internet and a web browser. Administrators can customise access and extend the reach of their organisations' networks to individuals according to their roles, such as teleworkers, contractors, and partners.
These SSL VPN licences are not stackable, meaning only one SSL VPN licence upgrade pack can be applied to any one security appliance. Multiple licence packs cannot be used with a single appliance. An organisation that requires a greater number of user licences than is available through TechSoup should contact Cisco directly to request licences at regular retail prices.
This licence pack does not increase the maximum number of concurrent VPN sessions a security appliance supports.
Obtaining Your Licences: Cisco donation processing takes 6 to 8 weeks upon approval. After your request is processed, you will receive a product authorization key (PAK) through standard mail. You will be directed to enter this key and your security appliance serial number on the Cisco website, where you will receive an activation key for your licence pack. Entering this key through your appliance's command-line interface will activate your SSL VPN licences.

The Cisco ASA5500-SSL-50= licence upgrade pack enables the Cisco ASA 5510 Security Appliance to support up to 50 concurrent SSL VPN sessions.

Windows 7 Enterprise is the enterprise-level version of the latest Microsoft operating system. It works best when used in an enterprise environment along with Windows Server 2008 R2. Its enterprise-specific enhancements include simplified remote network access and management, improved virtualization, expanded search capabilities, and better security. This 64-bit version operates on a computer with a 64-bit processor and 64-bit drivers.
This is an upgrade product. To install this operating system, you must have a licenced installation of one of the following operating systems on the device where you are installing the upgrade: Windows Vista Enterprise, Business, or Ultimate; Windows XP Professional or Tablet PC; Windows 2000 Professional; Windows NT Workstation 4.0; or Windows 98."You cannot upgrade from any Home edition of Windows." Unless you are upgrading from Windows Vista, this installation requires a "clean install." This means that if the computer has an existing operating system, you must remove all operating system files and applications, install the system, and then copy back the files and reinstall the applications. For complete information, see *TechSoup's Windows 7 Upgrade Steps and Checklist.
Windows 7 Enterprise requires significant system resources, as detailed below. It is likely that PCs currently running an operating system older than Windows Vista might not be able to run Windows 7. For a good start on evaluating whether to upgrade, see *TechSoup’s Should You Upgrade to Windows 7?.
