Lync Server Device CAL - Enterprise (Includes Software Assurance)

This enterprise device client access license (CAL) can be used only in conjunction with a standard Lync Server 2010 or Office Communications Server 2007 R2 device CAL. It supports the audio, video, and web conferencing and application-sharing capabilities of Lync Server 2010 or Office Communications Server 2007 R2 on one computer, regardless of the number of users (for example, on a shared workstation).
The enterprise CAL additionally enables voice telephony features when used with Office Communications Server 2007 R2. Voice telephony features for Lync Server 2010 require a separate license, the plus CAL. To enable all features in Lync Server 2010, all three CALs (standard, enterprise, and plus) are needed
User CALs are also available. A user CAL allows one user to access additional features in Lync Server 2010 or Office Communications Server 2007 R2 on any number of computers or other devices (for example, when an employee accesses the server from a computer at work and another at home).
License Only: This license does not require media, license keys, or setup codes.
Software Assurance: Under the Software Assurance program, you have the right to install any new release of products covered in the agreement during the term of your coverage.
