Winfrasoft VPN-Q 2006 consists of a server and a client component. The software is installed on your VPN server and configured with settings unique to your network.

Once the server component is configured, you will then need to generate a client package (under 1MB in size) and deploy this to your remote clients.

A VPN quarantine network is a virtual network that remotely connected machines are placed in. These quarantine areas are highly effective for keeping untrusted machines away from your core assets, while still providing a minimum level of connectivity to allow business to function. You may wish that certain PC's such as external B2B customers or consultants can connect to your network but with limited connectivity - regardless of their systems health status. Additionally, your own internal users can also be placed into the VPN quarantine network when they initially connect until the heath state of their PC is proven. VPN-Q 2006 provides a simple and secure way to vouch for the health state of remote client PC's.
